    • price varies depending on distance from Dallas, TX
    • For distances greater than 100 miles from Dallas, instructor travel and lodging will be added

  • The SLAM Rescue Airway Flowchart
  • Assessment and Evaluation of the Airway
  • Rapid Sequence Intubation, Delayed Sequence Intubation & Airway Pharmacology
  • Simple Techniques to Rescue Intubation
  • Rescue Ventilation Techniques
  • Confirmation of Tracheal Intubation


Afternoon Hands-On Sessions

Attendees will rotate between stations in groups

  • Cricothyrotomy instruction using pig laryngeal tracheal segments:  TTJV, Percutaneous Dilational Cricothyrotomy, & Bougie-assisted cricothyrotomy
  • Basic Tracheal Intubation Station using direct layngsocopy, external laryngeal manipulation and bougie-assisted intubation. 
  • Rescue Ventilation Station: Combitube, iGel, Air-Q, Ambu, LMA and King LT
  • Difficult Tracheal Intubation Station using video laryngoscopy 
  • Intubating Laryngeal Airway (ILA) Station: I-Gel, LMA, Ambu, LMA and others.

  • The Traumatized Pediatric Airway to include Cricothyrotomy
  • Guidelines 2015 – implications for airway management in pediatrics

  • Rescue Ventilation using  Supraglottic Airways
  • Direct Laryngsocpy & Tracheal Intubsation
  • Blind Nasal Intubation  
  • Special Techniques  to overcome difficult larynogscopy  and tracheal intubation
  • Videolarynogscopy & Fiberoptic Stylets
