Continuing Education Policy

Currently continuing education credits (CEs and CMEs) are provided only by the following entities:

  1. American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
  2. Air and Surface Transport Nurses Association (ASTNA)
  3. Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS)

Refund and Cancellation Policy


  • Request for cancellation must be sent by email to  Please ensure that you receive confirmation of your request within 24 hours.  If confirmation is not received please resend the request.  
  • All lodging and travel are the responsibility of the attendee.  SLAM is not responsible for reimbursement of any travel or lodging cancellation fees incurred due to cancellation by a registered attendee.

The following refunds are available to registered attendees based upon how much time remains between the date of cancellation and the date of the course:

  • 100% Refund minus a $200 administrative fee if cancellation is requested more than 90 days prior to the date of the course.
  • 75% Refund minus a $200 administrative fee if cancellation is requested between 75 days and 89 days from the date of the course.
  • 50% Refund minus a $200 administrative fee if cancellation is requested between 74 days and 60 days from the date of the conference.
  • 25% Refund minus a $200 administrative fee if cancellation is requested between 31 and 59 days from the date of the conference.
  • No refund is available if cancellation is requested 30 or less days from the date of the conference.


  • SLAM will notify any registered participant by email of a course cancellation and will also post the course cancellation on our website and on Twitter @slamairwayman.  
  • In the event of a cancellation we will refund your conference registration fee in full and provide a voucher for one time use for a 25% discount on any future SLAM conference.
  • SLAM Systems, Inc is not responsible for reimbursement of any travel expenses or lodging incurred due to a cancelled course.  However, we will issue a course registration voucher for one time use to off set the price of any future SLAM conference by an amount equal to any documented cancellation fees that the registrant incurs not to exceed the cost of course registration.

Conference Registration

Prices are subject to change without notice depending on market conditions.  The price charged is the price of the course at the time of the registration.  Should the registration price increase, attendees who have already registered will not be charged more.  Should the price of registration decrease, no refund, partial refund or discount is available for attendees that have already registered.  

Online Discounts

From time to time we offer online discounts when an attendee likes us on Facebook.  The discount is only available online and cannot be applied after registration is made.  No online discount is available for walk-in registration.
